On the morning of December 26, 2023, Tay Do University was honored to welcome the President of the Seoul City Association to visit and work at the University.

On the side of the Seoul City Association, those present at the working session included Mr. Choi Dongchul, who is the Chairman of Gangseo District Council, Chairman of the Seoul City Association; Mr. Chun Chul Gyu, who is a member of Seoul City Federation; and Mr. Han Sang Wook, who is also a member of Seoul City Federation. Additionally, Mr. Cho Kwangil, the Chairman of the Southeast Asia Fire Safety Exchange Association, Mr. Kim Hae Young, the Director of the Institute of International Educational Exchange at Gangseo University, Mr. Lee Yoon Koo, the Director of Shinhan Bank Can Tho branch, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Truc Ha, the Director of ITC Vietnam Company, were also in attendance.

Representing Can Tho City Department of Foreign Affairs was Mr. Ho Van Gia, who serves as the Director of the department. On the other hand, Tay Do University was represented by Honorable Associate Professor Dr. Vo Khac Thuong - Vice Chairman of the University Council and Vice Principal; People's Teacher, Associate Professor Dr. Phan Van Thom - Member of the School Council and the Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education; General Secretary, Professor Dr. Tran Cong Luan - Principal; and Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh - Party Committee Secretary and Vice Principal of the School. The meeting was also attended by teachers and leaders of departments, faculties and centers.

During the meeting, Tay Do University, the Presidium of the Seoul City Association, and Gangseo University discussed collaborating on programs related to training links, cultural and academic exchanges, scientific research, and volunteer opportunities for Korean educational institutions. This meeting also provided an opportunity for Tay Do University students who are interested in studying and working in South Korea after graduation.
